Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi managed to sell over two million devices in India in Q3 this year, that translates into a year-on-year growth of over one hundred and fiftieth. This was unconcealed by the company’s India head Manu Kumar Jain in a tweet.
“Mi India has been warmly welcome by users, that is why we are one in every of the quickest growing brands within the smartphone business nowadays – one out of each four smartphones sold online was Xiaomi,” Manu said.
This is the highest sales Xiaomi has registered in India ever since it entered the market in July 2014.
As for the continuing quarter (Q4), Xiaomi – which has currently entered India’s offline market as well – already sold one million phones in the 1st eighteen days of October. So, it’s seemingly that the firm will set a new sales record this quarter.
